*Research Assistant*

Research Assistant sought to aid in studies of the innate immune response to herpes simplex virus. This work involves the use of sophisticated techniques in cellular and molecular immunology, virology, molecular biology, and protein biochemistry. Opportunity exists for independent investigation as well as providing support for research conducted by other laboratory members. The ultimate goal of these studies is the development of new vaccines capable of preventing human disease. Candidate should have previous laboratory experience.
