
*POSTDOCTORAL POSITION *
Interested individuals in this postdoctoral position should be familiar with
protein chemistry, MAP kinase signaling, animal models of lung injury and cytoskeletal
organization. Emphasis of study will be to understand signal transduction of
phagocytes using purified cells, cultured cells and animal models of lung injury
and to elucidate cytoskeletal organization during eukaryotic cell movement.
A variety of protein biochemistry techniques, including cell and protein purification,
immunoblot, immunocytochemistry, confocal microscopy, flow cytometry, tissue
culture, animal studies, functional assays and receptor studies will be employed.
